Live Free or Die Hard
Role: CG Modeling Supervisor
On this project I supervised all the modeling and environment construction visual effects work that was done at The Orphanage. This included two main sequences: A fight sequence where a truck is hanging in an elevator shaft and another sequence where Bruce Willis is driving a semi truck and is attacked by an F35 VTOL jet. While the trucks in both sequences were shot practically, it fell on us to build the environments and jet. My hands-on contribution was to model the F35 (which was actually an F35/F22 hybrid in order to match a practical cockpit that was on-set), as well as build out much of the detailed environment that was around the circular raised roadways.
